Williamson County Property Tax Protest

The Williamson County Appraisal District has mailed out the 2020 Notices Of Appraised Value. Many property owners are seeing large jumps in value this year. We expect many homeowners will want to protest.

Due to Covid-19 the tax office is asking homeowners to begin their protest online. Below is a video I made on April 21. At that time the tax office had not set their procedures for informal hearings. As we receive more information, we will do our best to update our website with the next steps in the process.

If you need comps for your protest complete the form below.

Williamson County includes part of Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Liberty Hill, Georgetown and Hutto along with several other smaller cities.

Kopa Real Estate is not a professional tax protesting company and we are not able to protest on your behalf. However, over the years of helping our friends and clients, as well as protesting the value for our own home we have learned a few helpful tips. This is for educational purposes only and I am only giving my opinion. We recommend you also get advice from your own tax and financial professionals.

If you have any questions for us, call/text 512-791-7473  or email eric@koparealestate.com.
